The story from the pen of the well-known children's author janosch is about little josa, who one day is given a magic violin as a gift. A violin that can make any listener either rough and strong or quite small. And with this violin, josa sets off for the moon. On the way, he meets many people whom he can help thanks to his violin. He even manages to defeat the greedy king and his riders. Bravely, little josa goes on and on until he finally reaches the end of the world. Here he can play for the moon, which then becomes sometimes smaller and sometimes coarser. His father, old jeromir, sees this too, and he knows that no one other than josa is capable of performing such a miracle.
