Dear Members and Milwaukee Supply Chain Community, 

I hope you are staying safe and healthy. At APICS Milwaukee, we are continuing to adapt in this environment and held our annual awards and recognition event last week via Zoom. 

I'd like to personally congratulate all our award winners and recently certified noted below. Also thank you to our special guest speaker, William Crane. Founder & CEO of Industry Star, who shared his thoughts on increasing agility within supply chains to help reduce risk and succeed in the future.

We are continuing to host our Supply Chain virtual Workshop series taught by expert instructors on various supply chain topics, offered FREE for our members. We also are holding breakfast roundtables virtually and are reviewing options to resume in-person roundtables in the near future!

We are looking forward to offering APICS globally recognized certification classes starting in September including Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and Certification Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)

It has been my pleasure to serve as the APICS Milwaukee chapter President over the past year. I look forward to the year ahead under the leadership of our newly elected President, Susan Dunn.

This is the perfect introductory course for production and inventory management personnel and CPIM candidates. This is the recommended first course in the APICS CPIM program. It will cover four areas:

  • Business-Wide Concepts – will cover Supply Chain Fundamentals, Operating Environments, and Financial Fundamentals
  • Demand Management – will cover Market Driven, Voice of the Customer, and Demand Management
  • Transformation of Demand into Supply – will cover Product and Process Design, Capacity Management, and Planning
  • Supply – will cover Inventory, Purchasing Cycle, and Distribution
